COVID-19 Update

During this time of crises while everyone is “Staying Home,” please don’t forget to check in on your loved ones, your neighbors and those who live alone, especially the elderly and disabled.

We wish to thank all of the services, emergency, medical personal, food deliveries, and government, for all of their assistance sacrificing their own health to assists others.

We at Elder Care Services, Inc., continue to assist the elderly and disabled with their Medicaid applications, both Community and Nursing Home, and at the same time protect their income, life savings and homes, and wish to assure you that we are up to date with the eligibility and the submission process. Although, the Department of Social Services rules and regulations during the COVID-19 crises have been somewhat relaxed, nevertheless, applicants need to prove their identity, immigration status and financial eligibility.

A crucial regulation will take affect on October 1, 2020, which will force applicants applying for Community Medicaid to submit two and one-half (2.5) years of financial information. It is therefore in the applicant’s best interest to submit an application before October 2020 and avoid the newly restrictive regulation and possibly suffer ineligibility for a period of time.
