I was referred to Jack Lippmann of Elder Care Services, Inc., by a friend I met at a hospital where my wife was being treated. While talking I explained that my wife requires nursing home care and it will most likely deplete our life savings totally. Upon hearing this my friend offered me Jack’s business card and explained that she was in a similar situation when her husband was discharged to a nursing facility. She told me that Jack was able to save all of their life savings and home and encouraged me to see him quickly.
I visited Jack’s office on Queens Boulevard and was impressed with the vast Medicaid knowledge he had. As soon as Jack said he could help us I immediately hired his services. In July of 2017 my life turned upside down. First, when my wife suffered a stroke and needed nursing home care. Second, when the nursing home requested two months security and one month fee for room and board.
I was guided to several different agencies who made promises to get my wife on Medicaid and have Medicaid pay for the nursing home stay, but they were unable to accomplish this task. Nursing home suggested I pay privately.
Discouraged, depressed, and running out of time I decided to call Elder Care Services, Inc., of Forest Hills, NY, and see what, if anything, they could do, after all their advertisement indicated Free consultation.
Immediately upon meeting Mr. Jack Lippmann, the owner of Elder Care Services, Inc., he eased my mind and assured me that his office can help me and more importantly my wife who needed the care she was receiving at the nursing home, which by the way she liked. He called the nursing home and spoke to admissions, wrote them a letter and I didn’t have to pay the three months they had requested earlier. More importantly, since his telephone call the nursing home started treating me with respect and dignity. He also did not waste any time and within days of hiring his services he visited my wife at the nursing home and assured her as well that he will guide me as far as the resources and documentation required to file the Medicaid application. Later that evening, my wife told me that I made a good choice and she liked Mr. Lippmann’s experience and knowledge about Medicaid.

Our 93 year old mother needed help. She had an aide 16 hours a week but it just wasn’t enough. She didn’t want to go to a nursing home so our only option was to apply for Medicaid. I had seen an ad for Elder Care Services, Inc., and after a free consultation knew that we needed Jack’s help. He informed us of exactly what documents were needed and what had to be done in order for her application to be approved. Anytime we had a question and called Jack explained everything thoroughly and made the process a smooth one. Once all was in order Jack submitted the application. After a few months mom was approved and she had an aide 7 days a week.

I cannot say enough good things about Jack. At the time he was referred to me, I had already spent thousands of dollars with an attorney trying to get my grandmother approved for Medicaid. She had already been denied twice, and we were appealing the decisions. I was completely lost. My grandmother was running out of money and was bound to a wheelchair. She begged me not to send her to a nursing home, and that was starting to look like my only option – until Jack came into the picture. He took over the case, and had her approved in just a few months. He made the process simple and affordable. I had spent countless nights worrying about my grandmother, before Jack took the case. I was referred to Elder Care Services by a co-worker who had knowledge of their services. It was a stressful time trying to keep my 93 year old mother in her own apartment while family financial resources were being drained. We were at the point that she needed to apply for Medicaid.
